CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held on Sunday May 20 following the reKindle service at 12:30 pm in Custin Hall. The purpose of the meeting is the election of officers to Session and the Board of Deacons. The 2011 Annual Report also will be reviewed at the meeting. No other business wil be brought before the congregation.

WELCOME SPACE
The new Welcome Space is almost complete. To stay within budget, we would love cash donations to cover the cost of a few remaining items needed to finish off the space. Our goal is to raise about $500 to cover the cost for two armchairs, a large plant, a few small plants and other small items. You can provide cash or check (RPC-Welcome Space) donations to the church office. Please see Joyce Korab for additional information.

FELLOWSHIP BAKED GOODS
We love the sharing of baked goods during our coffee fellowship time and welcome and encourage sharing of your baking talents on any Sunday. Please coordinate in advance with Nancy Myers in order to ensure a balanced amount each week and that it is Welcome Space –friendly.

Per Capita Apportionment: The Per Capita reminds us of the connection with the National Capital Presbytery, the Synod of the Mid Atlantic and the General Assembly and our support to the work of the governing bodies of the Presbyterian Church USA to do the ministry and mission of Jesus Christ in the world. Every church is apportioned a share of the operating expenses based on church membership. This year the apportionment per member is $35.35. Your offering envelopes include a special envelope designated for this purpose and payment is made to RPC. Please be generous in providing your share of this Per Capita Apportionment so that a balance due does not need to come from the general RPC budget.
No matter where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome to join us.
