Youth Activities
Riverdale has an active program offering a variety of weekday and Sunday activities in addition to attending Sunday School classes on Sunday mornings!
Our youth participate in the Youth Connection with Youth Worship on Sunday mornings, occasional joint activiities with other churches, quarterly sleepovers and retreats and a yearly mission trip.
After School Club (ASC) - ASC meets every Wednesday afternoon during the school year from 2:00 - 3:00 pm during the school year, This group is now part of our 'Wednesday Night Live' program. See "Happenings" under the Calendar tab for more details.
Middlers - a program for 6th graders that meets from 3:00 - 4:00 pm every Wednesday during the school year. This serves as an extension of ASC and is led by our Educator. A transition from ASC to Youth Connections, 6th graders build a caring group that can play and learn together in Christ. This group is now part of our 'Wednesday Night Live' program.
Service Club - for youth in grades 7 and up meets from 5:00 - 6:00 pm every Wednesday. The youth work together doing projects for the church, neighborhood, and the wider community. 
Summer Youth Connection - youth grades 7 and up meet on Sunday after worship and Thursday evenings for activities and field trips during June and July. Every year the youth (ages 14 and up) can attend a mission trip. (Refer to Youth Ministries)
Presbyterian Youth Connection - meets occasionally for special activities and service projects. Also plan ski trips, and participate in the annual mission trip.
Youth Worship - youth in grades 5 and up meet with volunteer leaders in Room 2 after the sermon to plan the Christmas Pageant and the Youth Sunday Worship Service in June.
Youth Worship Assistants - students in grades 5 and up, including confirmation class learn to serve others by reading during worship and helping with Junior Church, the nursery and other special service projects.
Confirmation Class - meets with the Pastor and the Christian Educator on Sunday mornings for three weeks in the fall (learn about the church), three weeks in the winter (learn about mission), and three weeks in spring (prepare a faith statement). They participate in worship, have a retreat, and commit to church membership on Palm Sunday.
First Sundays - meet after church for food and fellowship, pool and ping pong. Rides home
