Service Hours
All Service Hours are tallied by individual youth to then be written when applying to schools for Service Learning credit. This is compiled by our Christian Educator. Watch for updates to follow.
Safe Haven - January 1 - 5 hours and January 4, 2012 - 1 hour and 2 hours, prepared and served food to homeless men sheltered in the church.

Safe Haven – January 2 and January 5, 2011, 2 hours each night service credit – prepared and served food to homeless men sheltered in the church.
Service Club (Wednesdays, 5-6 pm Sept thru May, 2 hours per month service credit
- Community work of picking up trash, stream cleaning, collecting food, recycling batteries, helping Kindergarten teachers
- Church work of cleaning nursery toys, cleaning sanctuary, baking for lunches, making flower containers, making cards, gardening

Vacation Bible School (June 27-July 1, 2011), 9 to noon, 10-12.5 hours service credit
- Classroom and activity assistants with children ages 4-6th grade
Service Camp (June 27 – July 1, 2011) 10 hours service credit
- Local trash and stream cleaning, shopping for and playing BINGO with seniors at Sacred Heart, baking for VBS
Mission Trip to Bethany Beach (July 26-29, 2011) 10 hours service credit
- Made disaster kits for Church World Service, worked for Brush with Kindness a program sponsored by Sussex County Habitat for Humanity
