Music Ministry

Our Chancel Choir practices on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm and sings every Sunday during Worship. At times, Youth Choirs and our Chancel Choir do special anthems together. The Director is Michael Hopkins-Gross.

Our new praise band "Highest Point" rehearses every Tuesday evening at  7:00 pm, and participates in the reKindle service every Sunday morning at 11:15. Kevin Bennear is our Worship Leader of this group. New members welcome!

Our Children and Youth Choirs practice on Sundays during Youth Worship and sing occasionally.

The Pearle Custis Memorial Bell Choir practices every Monday at 7:45 pm. They ring monthly for our morning worship and, at times, travel to other churches and share their gifts with others. The Director, Rees Richardson, leads the ringers and shares his talents in brass instruments with us.

Our Music at Riverdale Concert Series offers a variety of special musical events  for the community throughout the year.

Our Mueller Pipe Organ acquired in 1991, is one of the last built by that fine company. It adds to our music in worship, and is ably played by our organist Gerald Piercey.
