PER CAPITA APPORTIONMENT: The Per Capita reminds us of the connection with the National Capital Presbytery, the Synod of the Mid Atlantic and the General Assembly and our support to the owrk of the governing bodies of the PCUSA to do the ministry and mission of Jesus Christ in the world. Every church is apportioned a share of the operating expenses based on church membership. This year the apportionment per member is $35.35. Your offering envelopes include a special envelope designated for this purpose and payment is made to RPC. Please be generous in providing your share of this so that a balance due does not need to come from the general RPC budget.
Collect and bring to RPC: batteries to recycle (RPC Service Club tapes the tops for safe transport), Christmas cards (RPC Service Club cuts off fronts and sends to St Judes), Mens casual clothing (particularly larger sizes coats and pants, but also shirts and t-shirts - to give out on Youth Mission Trip to NYC this summer), travel toiletries (also to give to the homeless).

SAVE YOUR CHANGE: 5th Sundays, Presbyterian Women will be collecting a Least Coin offering during the Children's Time. The offering is part of the Fellowship of the Least Coin (FLC) which is an ecumenical prayer movement focused on peace, justice and reconciliation. As each of us offers prayers, we should set aside a least coin as a symbol of our prayers. As they are collected, these coins join many others from all parts of the world to advance these causes, and to support a variety of projects that help women and children achieve a better life. We sent $40 to PW in February.
